This annual event sponsored by EverThrive IL and the Illinois School-Based Health Alliance allows youth from across the state to meet legislators and advocate for improving adolescent health.
Child and Adolescent Health Initiative
EverThrive IL is partnering this spring with Chicago Coalition for the Homeless on HB3709 - Removing Barriers to Counseling Services for At-Risk Youth. This bill increases the access to mental health services for Illinois youth and allows providers to use their best judgement when continuing to serve these individuals.
The ISBHA hosts Regional Meetings twice a year – in the fall and in the spring.
Regional Meetings are an opportunity for the school health center (SHC) field, both school-based and school-linked, to come together to network, learn from each other, and access resources.
All SHC staff and supporters of the SHC model are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you would like to learn more, please email the EverThrive IL Child & Adolescent Health Initiative.
